The trailer highlights the 'best bits', including car chase scenes, plane crashes and Bond himself jumping from a high building
The trailer defines the film as an action film due to the inclusion of such extensive footage of action scenes
There is montage of fast paced clips, increasing in intensity until suddenly the clips stop and the title flashes onto the screen
The classic James Bond theme tune is playing in the background, not only does this alter the audience that it is apart of the iconic franchise but the music adds to the dramatic effect
The conversations between the characters are short, blunt and to the point. Bond directly tells a man "I'm here to kill you"
The Target Audience:
The target audience of this film is those aged between 14-24, or those who are lifelong fans of the James Bond franchise
How the distributors reach the target audience:
The classic James Bond theme tune is used, this helps to engage avid James Bond fans. The use of Daniel Craig, the latest Bond icon gives the film the star appeal . Finally the distributors launched a massive advertising campaign, which included bus adverts, YouTube ads and posters.
My Response:
personally I found this trailer very exciting and thrilling and if I hadn't already seen the film I would go see it, but I would recommend this film to anyone who hasn't seen it because of this trailer
these are used to promote the film, with it trending on twitter and fan pages being created as well as merchandise being available on the official website where you can find a vast verity of stuff including a spectre note pad.
the world premiere of the film was held in London in the Royal Albert Hall, on the 26th of October 2015.
in pre- production the film had a budget of $245,00,000. the filming of 'spectre' was filmed in multiple countries including Mexico for the opening scenes and other parts where filmed in Italy.
During the production all of the explosions was 100% authentic and real and the main explosion of the film that took place in Morocco was the biggest explosion to ever take place in cinematic history
For the 'day of the dead' scene they used 1500 extras and had to dress and paint all of these people it took them just over 75 minutes and had just under 50 professionals helping out as well as this the costume designer spent 6 months out in Mexico learning about the festival and ways of the locals so the costumes and scene can be as realistic as possible.
durning the production of the film they had 8 bespoke aston martin cars which was designed for there specific use like the stunt ones had roll cages while the ones to look good was made out of the best stuff.
