Green Screen: Technical post

Advantages:
  • Quick and easy to use as not much equipment is required.
  • It is a very cheap option in terms of bringing the location to the studio.
  • Production  time will be shortened due to the easily changeable backgrounds.
Cons of the green screen:
  • It was easy to forget to remove or cover items of clothing that were green, this ruins to overall effect and makes it less realistic
  • Sometimes there is a difference in lighting between the green screen image and the image in front of green screen which can ruin the illusion
  • There is only a limited space for movement

Creativity

In terms of the processes took during the creation, we created many different things to help us achieve our goal. some of these was Blogger, our preliminary task and finally are thriller opening

Blogger:

A group blog was created where could store and upload all of our work, this included all of our research and technical posts as well as our planning and final pieces like our preliminary and thriller opening. This can be accessed by the audience through blogger and St Mark's Media Blogs and choosing our group which is 'Group 4 AS' where it would bring them to our blog. overall I'm very pleased with the way our blog turned out as we put a lot of work into it

Preliminary:

This  was the first time i used a camera as well as the editing equipment, it was a school task in which my group had to create a short clip using some guide lines. this can be accessed through wither our blog or on youtube on the channel Callum Fitzgerald 7066, i was very pleased with the way our video came out as we didn't have much time to create it, and  considering the very little experience our group had with the editing procedure and the camera

Thriller Opening:

This was the conclusion to my AS course work, what all the work had lead up to, my group had to create a opening to the a thriller movie which had to last 2 minutes. it took us many week to create this the it was all wort it once the final product was done, this is the thing I'm most proud of from my year 12. this can be found on youtube as well as on our group blog

Genre

Hip hop music, also called hip-hop or rap music, is a music genre developed in the United States by inner-city African Americans in the 1970s which consists of a stylized rhythmic music that commonly accompanies rapping, a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted. It developed as part of hip hop culture, a subculture defined by four key stylistic elements: MCing/rapping, DJing/scratching with turntables, break dancing, and graffiti writing. Other elements include sampling beats or bass lines from records (or synthesized beats and sounds), and rhythmic beatboxing. While often used to refer solely to rapping, "hip hop" more properly denotes the practice of the entire subculture. The term hip hop music is sometimes used synonymously with the term rap music, though rapping is not a required component of hip hop music; the genre may also incorporate other elements of hip hop culture, including DJing, turntablism, scratching, beatboxing, and instrumental tracks.
Hip Hop music videos typically are associated with crime, money and women as it is the culture and in most cases, it is the reality the artists are exposed to.

In the 1990s, hip hop began to diversify with other regional styles emerging, such as Southern rap and Atlanta hip hop. At the same time, hip hop continued to be assimilated into other genres of popular music, examples being Neo soul and nu metal. Hip hop became a best-selling pop music genre in the mid-1990s and the top selling music genre by 1999. The popularity of hip hop music continued through the 2000s, with hip hop influences also increasingly finding their way into mainstream pop. The United States also saw the success of regional styles such as crunk, a Southern genre that emphasised the beats and music more than the lyrics. Starting in 2005, sales of hip hop music in the United States began to severely wane. During the mid-2000s, alternative hip hop secured a place in the mainstream, due in part to the crossover success of artists such as OutKast and Kanye West.

her website is https://www.zoella.co.uk/
on her website there are links in the top right corner of the page for all her social media platforms as well as her blog and you tube channel. the colours used are very girl and bright which you would expect from a female blogger/vlogger who has her own makeup line. there are tabs buttons aswell as a search bar which gives the audience easier access to all her contents. her name is clearly shown in the top right corner in its well known hand written font.

the website is clearly focused towards the female audience more than the male, this is evident with the first tab 'beauty' which gives you the options of 'hair','makeup' and 'skin care', because most of these topics it is obvious that its aimed at a female audience espcially of the ages between 13- mid twenties.
